I'm a COMPLETE novice to all things technical so help would be much appreciated!

I bought 2 second hand Mini Gadget tablets for my kids and they're Model number WonderMedia WM8650, Android version 2.2. The factory data reset was done and my first hurdle is "Complete action using: VTL.launcher or wmt.Launcher"....

Please can someone navigate me through the start up process? My kids only want to use them for Minecraft and the likes (they're only 7 & 8 years old... the kids that is, not...

WM8650 Can No Longer Boot

Hi . I use my new tablet wm8650 3-4 times and no problem...
I just turn it on today and it cannot boot anymore !!! . That's where the boot stops.

I have acquired a MID tablet that is WM8650 based and it didn't come with the silver adapter that plugs into the base that gives you an Ethernet and some USB sockets. Can anyone help here with information as to where I can get a replacement from? Thanks.

Sirius_Black was kind enough to mod an existing ROM to work for the M009S!!!

Here are some details about the ROM:

* Removed ringtones -2MB
* Included latest Google Market
* Included patched hosts file
* Enabled 3G

Hi im new to this but hope someone can help, my son receieved a wm8650 tablet for xmas, took it out box switched it on just said upgrading for 6 hrs, i checked a few forums tried formatting sd card, upgrading etc but nothing seems to work its now stuck on black screen with green led light any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi people. Not sure if anyone can help me with this but anything would be great.

Got one of these a while ago and for some reason its stuck at the little green man loading screen now. Tried the resest with the pin in the hole but no luck.

Is there a way I can load a new ROM on to this or is it deader than fried chicken? I managed to de-brand and change the ROM on my ZTE blade but that was running so I have no idea what to do now?

I am hoping that there is a genius on here that will be...

i just got this tablet as a gift and some websites were saying to hold the volume buttons and hold the sleep button or something but those tricks don't work, and the tablet has a password on it so i can't restore it, is there a way i can restore it without the email or the password?

The tablet worked out of the box, but shut down during an App installation and then wouldn't boot up. I flashed a Vestinious M009s ROM and got it working again, but with no touchscreen and a faulty wifi. Basically now I have a semi-working tablet: wifi scanning works but it won't connect, and the touchscreen does not work at all.

Does anyone have a factory standard firmware / ROM they can let me have? It was exactly like the one in this thread:...

Hi i'm new to this site I'm from nebraska and my daughter had gotten a maxwest telecom modle# wonder media wm8650 she got for christmas an is already having issues with it. First it wont stay on when it's unplugged and when try to pull up any apps from adroid market wont pull up anything that we have had on ipods or other android devices we have had in past. also does not have google play on it which i was wondering why it didn't but, if anyone could help with the first thing of how i can...

Hi folks,

I recently purchased a cheap chinese ibak784 tablet that features android 2.2. I did upgrade the ROM for uberoid 12.1 but it's got the same old 2.2 version.

I would like to update the ibak784 to android 2.3 gingerbread. Please, anyone can tell me how to do it or provide this update?

Today I bought a tablet VIA 8650, 800MHz, 256 ram with android 2.2 ... And wanted to know if you can upgrade the OS to Android 2.2 or 3.0.

If it did, also wanted to know where to get the room and how to install.

And how to make a restore point in case there is an error in the new OS.

I bought the Android 2.2 OS 7" Tablet WM8650 last June. It worked fine just the way it was for a while. I turned it on in July and the little android green man just sat there after I turned it on....nothing happened, I left him on for hours and he just sat there, not going to the main screen like it used to.

I have tried pressing the reset all button with a pin, it just shuts my tablet off and when I turn it on, up comes the green man again. I have tried holding the power button for certain...

I received this tablet last week and it was amazing! I loaded some great apps, some cool games, was trying to get my external hard drive that was connected to my router to map to a tablet folder... etc. I have purchased a few of the WM8650 and this was the first of them running Android 3.3.3 and it was an outstanding change from the poor Android 2.2 the other ones have!

Well the battery died the other night and I went to turn it back on and (as it normally did) the word "Android" in...

i see many people has this issue. stuck with no sign of activities on android logo.
I remember I had honeycomb Uberoid on this thing. I'm trying to bring it back to life after several years.
I downloaded the latest v12 rom and went thru the change.bat and all.
How do i know if this thing even shut off when i held the power button, how do i know if it's just not sleeping. did several reset thru hole.

I noticed the green power led start blinking red, does that mean anything? something...
